Thank you, Board Members

Board2012Thank you Board members for your valuable service to the Carmel Mountain Ranch community and for a job well done. Your efforts are highly appreciated.

The Board is elected to make decisions, set policy and accomplish the Association's goals and objectives. The Board enforces the community rules and regulations, maintains the appearance and safety of the common areas by contracting for services, conducts regular Board meetings and makes the business decisions that affect the community. The Board has the fiduciary responsibility to act at all times in the best interest of the Association.

Association Trees

TreesSome residents have decided that they would like the trees in the common area of the Association removed. Further, they decided to use self-help and cut the trees down themselves. This is strictly forbidden.

Any tree that is in the Association maintained landscaping area is the sole responsibility of the Association. As stated in the CC&R’s, there is no guaranty of view. The Association makes every effort to accommodate requests from homeowners when a tree is disturbing them. Sometimes, a tree may be removed, but very rarely. All tree requests are submitted to a certified landscape architect for inspection and evaluation. The Board relies on this report to take any action. The Association policy is that no tree will be removed, topped or otherwise cut solely for view purposes.

Therefore, please contact Walters Management with any matters concerning trees and views before doing anything to a tree. The matter will be brought before the Board and an evaluation will be done.

Happy New Year

2012The Board of Directors would like to wish the Carmel Mountain Ranch residents a Happy New Year, and a Prosperous 2012!

Stay safe, look out for each other and enjoy CMR, which continues to thrive as a community of the highest quality.
